Formula E Takes Pole Position as Formula 1 and MotoGP complete the Podium
Enovation Consulting in collaboration with Professor Paolo Taticchi, Professor of Strategy and Sustainability at UCL School of Management, has published the fourth edition of the Sustainable Championships Index™ (SChI™).
In line with previous iterations of the index, the 2025 SChI™, assessed the sustainability performance of 91 four wheeled and two wheeled motorsport championships and is based on 25 carefully calibrated sustainability performance criteria across six dimensions of sustainability:

The fourth edition of the SChI™ report reveals ABB FIA Formula E World Championship gaining the highest step of the podium as the most sustainable championship, followed by the FIA Formula One World Championship and the FIM World Championship Grand Prix (MotoGP).
Biggest Improvers
The FIA European Rallycross Championship, FIA World Rally Championship and FIA European Rallycross gained the most points in this year’s edition, demonstrating the elevation of their sustainability credentials.
The Asian Le Mans Series gained the most places in this year’s index, with the FIM Speedway of Nations, the FIM Speedway Under 21 World Championship, and the European Le Mans Series all improving their rankings similarly.
