DR CRISTIANA PACE PRESENTATED WITH ESTEEMED PREMIO CONFARTIGIANATO MOTORI AWARD
Founder and CEO of Enovation Consulting receives Technology and Environment Award in recognition of commitment to driving sustainability in motorsport
Confartigianato Motori Award given in partnership with Parco del Lambro, which surrounds Monza circuit
Other awardees include Oracle Red Bull Racing as Team of the Year and Ruth Buscombe as strategist of the year
Ahead of the 2023 Italian Grand Prix, the Commission of the prestigious Confartigianato Motori Award presented Founder and CEO of Enovation Consulting, Dr Cristiana Pace, with a newly created “Tecnologia e Ambiente” award in recognition of her pioneering work driving sustainability in sports.
The esteemed Confartigianto Motori Awards were established in 1983 to recognise those working across Formula 1, whether as drivers, managers, engineers, mechanics, journalists, photographers, or in other capacities, and are judged each year by an authoritative panel of industry experts.
The ceremony for the 41st edition of the Confartigianato Motori Awards was held at the Monza Autodromo on 1st September in the presence of guests, authorities and managers of the Confartigianato system. The ‘Technology and Environment’ award was presented in collaboration with the Lambro Valley Park surrounding the Monza circuit. Dr Pace is joined by fellow Girls on Track UK ambassador Ruth Buscombe, strategist at Alfa Romeo, as well as other industry leaders including Andrea Stella, Team Principle at McLaren, Diego Ioverno, Sports Director at Scuderia Ferarri, as well as drivers Alexander Albon of Williams Racing and Oscar Piastri of McLaren Racing, in being recognised for their contributions to Formula 1 by this year’s awards.
The Commission of Confartigianato Motori Award, commented: “The special “Tecnologia e Ambiente” Award 2023 has been awarded to Dr Cristiana Pace in recognition of a career path that has seen her work at the pinnacle of the international motorsport industry. Having gained strong experience on the racetrack, Dr Pace has optimized her wealth of knowledge through the pioneering Enovation Consulting, which is supporting the motorsport world in its drive towards sustainability.”
