B THE CHANGE: ENOVATION CONSULTING ACHIEVES B CORP STATUS AS SPORTS AND SUSTAINABILITY CHANGEMAKER

Enovation Consulting becomes first strategic consultancy to achieve both FIA Two-Star environmental accreditation and B-Corp status 

B Corp certification centres on five key areas of sustainability: environment, governance, workers, community, and customers 

Enovation Consulting achieves score of 118 in first year, joining leaders in positive impact including Patagonia, Allbirds, and Finisterre 

Following a rigorous application process, as of June 2023 Enovation Consulting has joined a global community of businesses meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability by becoming a certified B Corporation.  

B-Lab, the non-profit behind B Corp, assesses businesses in five key areas to determine whether they are operating at the required standards to achieve certification: environment, governance, workers, community, and customers. There are currently fewer than 1,500 B Corps in the UK, and a score of 80 is required to attain certification; Enovation Consulting received a score of 118 in its first year.   

The agency also joins 13,000 businesses in the UK as being recognised as a Living Wage Employer, an important accreditation that reflects the organisation’s commitment to paying wages that account for the true cost of living, rather than the statutory minimum set by UK government. The rates are calculated annually by the Resolution Foundation and overseen by the Living Wage Commission, based on the best available evidence about living standards both in London and across the UK.

A commitment to positive impact is woven through every strand of Enovation Consulting, which also achieved the FIA 2* environmental accreditation in 2021. The business will continue to report on progress, validating its contributions as part of its mission to drive positive and meaningful change through sport and leveraging its unique and powerful platform to influence progress on a societal and environmental level.
